Greg Koskinen-Dodgson is a graduate of Computer Science of the University of Calgary. He has worked with many computer and telecommunications technologies over the years.
He started his career at the Government of Alberta in a mainframe environment. He moved to the University of Alberta where he was involved with the development of a Human Resources Information System as well as with the early acquisition and support of personal computers.
He subsequently moved to Vancouver to work in software development and telecommunications consulting. His recent activities have focused on networking, client-server development and Computer Telephony Integration.
Mr. Koskinen-Dodgson is a former member of the executive of the ASM (Association of Systems Managers).
He brings to his clients a broad knowledge of voice and data communications as well as a detailed knowledge of client-server hardware implementation and software development.
Recent work has included the Internet and 'Intranet' including the use of HTML and TCP/IP. Consulting assignments include needs analyses, technology evaluations, and project management.
He has frequently spoken to technology groups on a variety of telecommunications and computer topics. He has been an instructor at BCIT, Capilano and Vancouver Community Colleges, has conducted public seminars on Voice and Data Communications throughout North America and been a technology writer for the Globe & Mail and other publications.
